Traditional Sushi Rice Recipe

Step 1: Make perfectly sticky sushi rice. Step 2: Invite all your friends over to make sushi. Step 3: Pretend you’re surprised when they say the sushi rice is perfect.

Ingredients

3 cups of medium or short grain rice (a rice cup measure comes with most rice cookers)
3 oz. Mizkan Seasoned Rice Vinegar

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rinse the rice with water 5 times. Set a rice cooker with rice and water and cook. After cooked, let the rice sit for 10-20 minutes.
  2. Pour the rice into a shallow pan or bowl and pour in Mizkan Seasoned Rice Vinegar. Stir together quickly and mix well while the rice is still hot.
  3. Allow the rice to sit for 10 minutes to cool. You are now ready to make sushi!
