Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 ounces) sliced bamboo shoots, drained well (about 1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons MIZKAN Ramen Broth Concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon red chile flakes (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pat bamboo shoots dry with paper towels. Add bamboo shoots and sesame oil to small saucepan. Cook on medium heat 2-3 min. or until slightly softened.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer 12-15 min. or until bamboo shoots are mostly tender and liquid has reduced slightly. Cool completely in pan. Transfer mixture to clean container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
