Fried Rice Vegetable Bowl

Enjoy this easy to make, budget friendly, Fried Rice Vegetable Bowl! Add some frozen egg rolls for an easy side dish to round out this delicious Japanese dinner.


1½ cups white rice

1 (12-oz) package of broccoli florets

2 cups frozen peas and carrots, thawed

1 yellow bell pepper, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp ground ginger

2 Tbsp olive oil

2 Tbsp. Mizkan® Natural Rice Vinegar

2 green onions, sliced

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro

3 Tbsp less sodium soy sauce

2 Tbsp dark sesame oil

¾ cup chopped roasted cashews or peanuts

Optional: 6 frozen vegetable egg rolls for side dish


  1. Cook rice according to package directions. Halve broccoli florets if large.
  2. Cook broccoli, peas and carrots, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger in hot olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
  3. Combine rice, broccoli mixture, onions, cilantro, soy sauce, Mizkan® Natural Rice Vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl. Sprinkle with nuts.


Optional: Bake egg rolls according to package directions.
